Sentire Cum Ecclesia

We take as the motto of our community, Sentire cum Ecclesia (to think, and to feel with the Church), striving in a spirit of filial obedience to study carefully, live faithfully, and promote actively, the magisterial teaching of the Church.

Ubi Petrus, Ibi Ecclesia

St. Ambrose said, "Where Peter is, there is the Church".  As loyal daughters of the Church, we manifest our allegiance to the Successor of St. Peter and Vicar of Christ by the study of current magisterial teaching and by daily prayer and sacrifice for our Holy Father (SMMC Constitutions).  

Devotion to the Holy Eucharist

The Holy Eucharist is the source and summit of the Church's life and mission. In union with Mary, our day centers around the Eucharistic Sacrifice and the presence of Jesus, in the Sacrament of His Love. "Mary, present on Calvary beneath the Cross, is also present with the Church and as Mother of the Church in each one of our Eucharistic celebrations. No one better than she, therefore, can teach us to understand and live the Holy Mass with faith and love, uniting ourselves to Christ's redeeming sacrifice" (Benedict XVI, Sept. 11, 2005). Daily, we unite as a community for Eucharistic adoration and through our apostolates, we seek to teach others the primacy of the Holy Mass, to cultivate a sense of the sacred, and to promote Eucharistic Adoration. 

Assisted by the example of our sisters and uniting with the heart of Mary, Mother of the Church, we offer Our Divine Lord adoration, praise, and thanksgiving for the salvation of the whole world.

In keeping with the desire of Pope Emeritus, Benedict XVI, to promote a sense of the sacred in the celebration of the Eucharist, as well as to bring about "an interior reconciliation in the heart of the Church," we seek to foster a deeper understanding of and reverence for both forms of the Roman Rite (Summorum Pontificum).
